There's no question that Michelle Obama is a First Lady with style.
She turned heads when she wore a stunning strapless nude gown while on the arm of her husband to the presidential couple's first official state dinner last night in honor of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Mrs. Gursharan Kaur.

In celebration of the India-themed event, the First Lady opted to wear a custom-made design by Indian-American designer Naeem Khan. Khan's red carpet roster includes gowns by A-listers like Beyonce, Carrie Underwood and Katherine Heigl.

Khan told CNN talk show host Larry King that he wanted something "Indian, chic, simple but very glamorous" for the First Lady, adding that the dress took 40 people and three weeks to create in India.

MBam accessorized her one-of-a-kind silver-sequined gown, adorned with beads that form an abstract floral pattern, with oversized earrings, bangle bracelets and a cream-colored wrap.
