MEXICAN DRUG KINGPIN GORDO GETS SENTENCED TO 31 YEARS FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING!

A drug kingpin has lost quite a few kilos.
Jorge Paredes-Cordova - nicknamed Gordo - looked much thinner than his top weight of 330 pounds as he was sentenced Friday to 31 years in prison.

Paredes-Cordova was convicted of heading a drug-trafficking syndicate that smuggled tons of cocaine into the United States.

But he still insists he's innocent.

"I am willing to go through a lie detector test and if I don't pass that you can impose the harshest penalty on me," he said. "I swear to you from the bottom of my heart."

The judge didn't buy it and gave him 372 months in prison. As Paredes-Cordova listened in Spanish, he dabbed at his eyes and nose with a tissue.
