Mendeecees Harris Checks Into Prison To Serve His 8 Year Sentence For Drug Trafficking

'Love & Hip Hop NY' star Mendeecees Harris is now going by "Inmate Harris" after checking himself into federal prison in Pennsylvania.

Harris got 8 years for drug trafficking charges. He'll do his time in a minimum security prison where inmates can watch TV and the meal program is top notch ... something different everyday for 8 weeks.

He's already served 15 months for his crime, so he actually has less than 7 years left to serve.

Mendeecees Harris aka Uno, his brother Tyrus Harris aka sat and Ronald walker who was held on 2 counts while Mendeecees and Tyrus was held on 1 count.

According to the records the two brothers are held on 1 count of Narcotics Conspiracy in which the grand jury charged that between 2005 and August 2012 in the western district of NY and elsewhere Ronald Walker, Mendeecees Harris and Tyrus harris did knowingly willfully and unlawfully combine,conspire and agree together and with others, known and unknown to the grand jury to commit the following offenses, that is, to possess with intent to distribute 5 kilograms or more of a mixture and substance containing cocaine, a scheduled 2 controlled substance, and 1 kilogram or more of a mixture and substance containing heroine, a scheduled 1 controlled substance, in violation of Title 21, United States Code,Sections 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(A).All in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Section 846.

According to Mendeecees lawyer, Donald Thompson, in addition to his agreement to turn over money earned from his appearances on Love & Hip Hop, Mendeecees will also face a sentence of 8 to 10 years in a federal prison and/or receive a fine ranging from $15,000 to $5 million. He will also have to face 4 to 5 years of supervised release.

The two other men involved in the case — Ronald Walker and Mendeecees’ brother, Tyrus Harris — copped a plea deal where Ronald is currently serving 10 years in prison, while Tyrus was sentenced to 5.
