Megan Thee Stallion Leads Nominees At 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards

Megan Thee Stallion sets the tone as the top nominee at the 2024 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The Houston rapper is up for twelve trophies at the 19th annual event. Other top nominees include Kendrick Lamar, who closely follows with 11, and Drake, who counts eight nods. Additional Hip-Hop acts with multiple nominations include Cardi B, GloRilla, Metro Boomin, and Nicki Minaj, each with seven nods. Future and Travis Scott tied with six while 21 Savage and rising group 41 tied with four nominations each. A$AP Rocky, Common, Lil Wayne, Pete Rock, and Sexyy Red all received three nominations. Set to film on Oct. 8 and air the following week, Fat Joe returns as host for the third consecutive year. For the first time, the BET Hip-Hop Awards will take place in Las Vegas.“ Joe Crack is back for the 3-peat, night night baby,” detailed the Bronx representative in a statement. “It’s been a dream to host the ‘BET Hip-Hop Awards’ the past few years and I’m looking forward to taking things to the next level in Las Vegas.
