Earlier today (Sept. 16), The Game ignited a war of words with Meek Mill over what stemmed from an alleged robbery of Sean Kingston’s $300,000 chain at Penthouse Nightclub & Dayclub, TMZ reports. The Compton native claimed that Meek “snitched” on him, but no evidence of that reveal has surfaced.
A video from a club performance from The Game surfaced last night (Sept. 15), where he blurted out “Fu*k Meek Mill,” and dropped a diss record titled “92 Bars.”
In what seems to be a response to the matter, Meek Mill took to Instagram to share his thoughts. “U wanna fight?” he begins the social media post. “Next morning a diss raps…… Then the pre-order links! THE JIG IS UP YALL GUYS REAL RAPPERS! Make sure y’all go support them industry cats!”
Prior to the MMG member’s post, The Game also published an image of he and Nicki Minaj on set of her “Pills N Potions” video shoot, which featured a cameo from him. “The last time Nicki held a REAL Ni**A !!!” he said. “Everybody know you the wife ni**a…. If she take her followers back, you gone be back at 100k !!! #Snitch #RatsWillDoAnythingForCheese.”
Spectators are hoping that Meek will accompany this attention with the release of his Dreamchasers 4 mixtape, which is rumored to drop in the fall.
Earlier today, Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Club got a hold of The Game’s diss record entitled “92 Bars” and played a snippet of the track on Thursday morning (September 16), where the Compton native mentions Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill snitching and more (see the 2:22 mark of the video below).
Then the memes started.
