It looks like Meek Mill and Yo Gotti‘s Against All Odds tour is over before it really even started—at least temporarily. Today (July 6), representatives from Roc Nation, the company that manages Meek, confirmed to XXL that the tour has been postponed.
The news comes on the heels of venues in Boston, Detroit and Nashville announcing that the tour’s stops in their area had been postponed. The tour was set to begin yesterday (July 5) and continue on until August 8, but now it’s unclear when it will start back up and when—or if—new tour dates will be revealed.
For fans of the two rappers, this news is definitely a shame. Meek Milly’s coming off dropping his four-song Meekend Music II project just the other day, providing a sequel to his solid Meekend Music EP he dropped back in May.
Gotti, on the other hand, must be feeling like a champ after receiving they key to the city for his native Memphis. He made his appreciation for the award known in an Instagram post he uploaded a short time later.
Fans of the two rappers will likely have to wait a good while before they can see Meek and Gotti perform in concert. For now, they can sit back and enjoy the glory of their most recent collab, “Top Looking Down.”
