Meek Mill's album, Dreams And Nightmares, was originally slated for an August 28th release date as was announced at the much ado'd Maybach Music Group press conference at the beginning of the summer.Despite the success of "Amen" featuring Drake and "Burn" featuring Big Sean, Meek has had his album pushed back to the middle of the Fall. Dreams And Nightmares is now slated for a October 30th release date.
"A lot of people have been shying away from the real rapping and hip-hop. When I come out with an album, I want to have a classic album, an Illmatic, [Vol.2...] Hard Knock Life, Get Rich or Die Tryin' type, a hip-hop album," Meek told San Francisco's WiLD 94.9.MMG's Rick Ross echoed the sentiments on a trip to Power 105's "The Breakfast Club" to promote his recent release: "He's still putting the final touches on his debut making sure it's a classic, and [that's] most definitely what it will be."
