Mathew Knowles Owes Uncle Sam $1.2 Million In Taxes

Beyonce's dad's tax bill for unpaid taxes is said to be $1.2 million and the IRS is looking for their money. TMZ broke the story on May 13, and it looks like Mathew Knowles had better come up with a plan to fork over some serious cash very soon.

The IRS just filed a lien over Beyonce's dad's tax bill, and it covers outstanding money due from 2010 and 2011. They claim that Mathew Knowles owes them $485,575.95 from 2010 and $728,004.89 from 2011. During this time Mathew Knowles was still managing Beyonce's career, so he clearly was raking in some huge money.

Certainly Mathew Knowles isn't the first, and won't be the last, famous person to end up in tax lien trouble over unpaid taxes.
