Mary J. Blige shares a good friendship with 50 Cent, and despite his many rap beefs SHE considers him a “nice” person. She starred on the 50 Cent-produced Power Book II: Ghost, discussed being friends with him on A episode of Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Blige called Fifty a “great boss” and said the rapper “always blesses us with jobs,” meaning her Power cast mates. When Big Boy added that Fif has been his “guy for decades” and that he’s “so glad” that the rapper “loves” him, Blige joked, “Aren’t we all glad he loves us? The nine-time Grammy winner also recounted when Fifty was a guest on her short-lived BET talk show The Wine Down. “He opened up so much. He was so soft and inviting and he told so much truth,” Blige recalled about the 2023 episode. “And not that he would ever lie. What I'm saying is he was very vulnerable.” The vocalist added that the interview was “incredible.” “I was like, ‘Wow, you are really a nice man.’” She added, “He's a beautiful person until you rub that wrong side and then that's it.”
