Marvel Studios ‘Blade’ Removed From 2025 Release Schedule

Marvel‘s reboot of the Blade film franchise has been removed from its calendar listing its slate of films planned for release in 2025. News of the film being pushed back surfaced, continuing a succession of false-starts and delays of the anticipated project since it was first announced over five years ago. Blade‘s delay is largely speculated as a byproduct of director Yann Demange’s departure from the film this past June, as well as Disney CEO Bob Iger’s recent declaration that Marvel will only release three movies per year for the foreseeable future Predator: Badlands, the sixth film in the popular franchise, is now listed to arrive on the Blade reboot’s previous release date of Nov. 7, 2025.
