Mariah Carey Styles Out Her Arm Sling

Arm sling fashion could be the next big thing, thanks to Mariah Carey's creations.

The "Beautiful" diva performed at the MLB All Stars Charity Concert in Central Park while wearing several different decorated arm slings to match her sweeping gowns.

Carey, 43, suffered a dislocated shoulder on the set of her new music video earlier this month, but the pop star was showing off her battle wounds during her performance with the New York Philharmonic.



"In spite of the pain, I wouldn't have ever missed this moment," Carey wrote dramatically after the show, posting a glamorous photo of her costume. "Thanks for helping me get through it and sharing it with me."

Carey was able to make it through four songs during the concert, benefitting Superstorm Sandy victims, though she did announce that she was "in a tiny bit of pain, but OK" according to the Associated Press.

"I'm not in the best of health," she said, taking a video. "I'm filming this for my own self for incredible laughs."

Earlier this week, the "Shake It Off" singer kept fans updated on her injuries - which seemed to be pretty extensive.

"Still in a lot of pain - cracked rib, fractured shoulder, bruises everywhere, but the show must go on," she wrote.
