They went with M!
Moroccan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon are the names Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have chosen for their newborn twins.
Moroccan, who weighed 5-pounds, 6-ounces, was named after the Moroccan Room – the top floor of Carey's New York City apartment, which has Moroccan-themed décor and is the site where Cannon proposed.
The little boy shares a middle name with his father, which also happens to be his grandmother's maiden name, CNN.com reported.
Monroe is named after Marilyn Monroe, who has long-inspired Carey's life and career.
The baby girl, who weighed 5-pounds, 3-ounces, doesn't have a middle name, just like her mother.
On Sunday, one day after the twins' birth, 42-year-old Carey and 30-year-old Cannon renewed their vows. Their third wedding anniversary, coincidentally, was the same day their kids were born.
The Rev. Al Sharpton revealed on Twitter that he "conducted the renewal of their vows and the blessing of the newborn twins."
"It has been a long, emotional journey for this family, and I couldn't be happier for all of them," Carey's longtime rep told CNN.
Carey herself said she wishes she could "personally thank all those around the world who continue 2 send congrats+prayers for #dembabies!"
"They're doing great," she wrote on Twitter Tuesday. "And they are the most incredible gifts we could ever have imagined!"
