MARIAH CAREY GETS CALLED OUT FOR BEING TOO MUCH OF A DIVA! SHE NEEDS TWO PEOPLE TO HELP HER SIT ON A SOFA!

It's the excoriation of Mimi.
British TV host Kate Garraway has taken swipes at Mariah Carey and her diva-like behavior, the Daily Mail reported.

Carey was in the UK to promote her album and new film, "Precious," and appeared on "GMTV" for a taped interview with host Lorraine Kelly.

"I've heard a lot of rumors about her being a diva over the years and guess what? It turns out it's all true!" claimed Garraway, who's on the "GMTV" team. "While Mariah was very nice, the amount of people she had in her entourage was hilarious. They outnumbered the entire 'GMTV' crew."

In the interview with New! magazine, Garraway revealed Carey not only came with an entourage to ensure she looked picture perfect on air but needed two people to lower her on to the morning show's sofa to keep from crushing her dress.

Carey was apparently intent on pampering more than her frock.

"She brought her own toilet roll as well," Garraway said. "Have you ever heard anything like it?"

Yes, actually.

Carey, a best-selling pop star and burgeoning actress, has been on the defense about being demanding tendencies before.

Just last week, the songbird reportedly insisted to be surrounded by 20 white kittens and 100 white doves for her appearance at a Christmas lighting event in London. In addition, Carey also requested to be showered in butterfly-shaped confetti during the end of her performance.

"I am baffled, shocked and appalled when I am called a diva," Carey has said. "I've never done a diva-ish thing in my life."

Carey's rep called Garraway's claims a "clear, gross exaggeration."
