A California man who left unwanted presents in his coworker's water bottles must pay her more than $27,000, a judge said Monday.
The money will cover the woman's loss of wages, therapy and medical expenses.
Michael Kevin Lallana was convicted of two misdemeanor counts of battery in February for ejaculating into his co-worker's water bottles at Northwestern Mutual Mortgage Co. in Newport Beach, Calif., in 2010.
She drank from the bottles twice. The first time, she threw it away because it tasted funny. The second time, she sent it to a lab for testing. When the test came back positive for semen two months later, she called cops.
The victim testified at Lallana's trial this year that the incidents have left her scarred for life.
"The idea that I had Mr. Lallana's semen in my mouth, without my knowing, against my will, for his sexual pleasure, sickens me," she said in her victim-impact statement.
"What I experienced was not rape, but I feel it was a form of rape. I ultimately experienced sexually inflicted harm without my consent."
Prosecutors said Lallana committed the lewd act because he was attracted to his coworker. He has been sentenced to six months in jail and three years' probation and is required to register as a sex offender.
Ewww! He had her drinking his kids!
