Music producer Mally Mall is being investigated for sexual assault and human sex trafficking, allegations he denies.
The producer’s Los Angeles home was raided and searched on Tuesday following allegations of “multiple rapes and human sex trafficking, as well as firearms on the premises,” reports TMZ.
Sources involved in the investigation tell the website that a woman came forward in January claiming that Mally Mall had flown her in from Texas after discovering her fitness videos on social media. Once at his home, though, she says he drugged and raped her and locked her in a room.
The woman reportedly felt she had to stay another day and have sex with the producer, but then went to the hospital after developing a rash. It was at that point that a nurse is said to have discovered signs of vaginal trauma.
According to TMZ, sources close to Mally Mall claim that everything that happened between him and the woman was consensual and that the producer has voicemails and texts that show she is trying to extort him.
Sources also told the website that at least three other women have come forward with similar allegations.
Mally Mall was not arrested, just detained and released, per TMZ.
“If they had real evidence, they would have arrested him,” Mally Mall’s lawyer told TMZ. “They don’t have evidence. It’s bogus. Period.”
Authorities are also investigating allegations that Mally Mall, who produced the Rae Sremmurd single “Powerglide,” illegally imported exotic animals. Three animals were reportedly seized during the raid: two monkeys and a Serval cat.
