LUPE FIASCO SAYS HE WANTED TO KILL HIMSELF AFTER B.O.B'S "NOTHING ON YOU" CAME OUT!

Artists always have regrets about the song/track that they let slip away, but rapper Lupe Fiasco is claiming that he felt like taking his own life after Atlantic records rejected his version of the song "Nothing On You" and instead ran with B.o.B's version.

In an interview with The Guardian, Lupe reveals that he did a version of the track in 2009, but label heads rejected his version because the versed weren't up to par.

"That was the tipping point," say Lupe. "It was less about the bruised ego but more the audacity of it. It was mentally destructive. I say it with a certain laissez-faire now because I'm past it, but back then, hearin' that s**t, it f**ked me up.

"I was super-depressed, lightly suicidal, at moments medium suicidal - and if not suicidal, willing to just walk away from it all completely."

WHAT I DON'T GET IS LUPE FIASCO IS A GRAMMY AWARD ARTIST & HE STILL GETS SH!TTED ON! SHOUT OUT TO HIM! I THINK HE'S DOPE! WE GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO INTERVIEW HIM WHEN ATLANTIC WAS DOING STREET PROMOTION FOR THEIR ARTIST! HE WAS A REAL COOL LAID BACK DUDE!
