LUDACRIS CONFIRMS FAST & FURIOUS 6!

“Fast & Furious” fans, buckle up. Another installment of the racing action series will be speeding its way to movie screens.

The worst-kept secret in Hollywood was officially outed by Ludacris when the rapper took to Twitter to make the announcement.

“ITS BEEN CONFIRMED. FAST & FURIOUS 6 WILL BEGIN SHOOTING IN 2012. AAAAWWWW S—!!!,” tweeted the enthused star, who played Tej in previous installments of the hit franchise.

Back in April, Deadline reported a sixth addition to the hit blockbuster franchise is on its way, with the film expected to be released on Memorial Day, May 24, 2013. Vin Diesel earlier had posted on Facebook that there would be at least two more movies of the popular franchise.

Neal H. Moritz and Diesel are returning as the film’s producers, with director Justin Lin back behind the camera, for a take that is reportedly going to veer the series from car racing full speed into the heist genre.
