LOL! THE ARMY BANS SOULJA BOY'S ALBUM!

Soulja Boy's Army-bashing situation is approaching DEFCON 1.

The U.S. military announced that it will boycott the rapper's upcoming album if it contains the controversial song "Let's Be Real," TMZ is reporting.

"F--k the FBI and the army troops ... fighting for what?" Soulja Boy raps in the song, which he first posted online last week.

Almost immediately after, the armed forces reacted strongly against the rapper and have installed a ban on his album in over 3,000 Army and Air Force Exchange Service stores.

The Exchange is set up by the United States Department of Defense to sell products, with the purpose of generating income for the United States Army and Air Force Morale.

The move was announced by LTC Thomas Shrader, who also said that the lyrics "are unacceptable and not the kind of thing we would want to market."

That's why Soulja Boy is scrambling to do all he can to express how sorry he is for the offensive rap.

He and his management team are doing everything they can to remove all traces of the song from the Internet, and further, are promising that the song will not be featured on the new album.

Soulja Boy first apologized on Tuesday, saying in a statement: "As an artist, I let my words get the best of me ... I write this to give my sincerest apology to all members of the United States military services, as well as their families that were offended by my most recent lyrics."

Debby Coda, a rep for Soulja Boy's management, told TMZ that the song was hastily and foolishly posted online, but was never approved for the album.

In addition, Soulja Boy is doing more than just apologizing. He's also offering to give free performances for the military and meet-and-greet sessions.
