When it comes to the Twitter community, Kanye West is nothing if not a model follower. Literally.
The rapper, 33, has chosen 15 supermodels as the only account holders he chooses to follow on the social networking site.
West, who has amassed over one million followers since joining Twitter in July, is known to be notoriously stingy with whom he follows.
So why are these lucky ladies now on West's radar? The rapper singled the models out in the lyrics of his new song, "Christian Dior Denim Flow."
"I heard Bar was friends with Esti Ginzburg," he raps on the ensemble cut, released two weeks ago. "Coco Rocha, Kate Mimosa/Alessandra Ambrosio, Anja Rubik, get Olga Kurylenko tell her I'm very single/Abbey Lee, too I'm a freak boo/I'm wylin I'm on a thousand/wanna see Irina Shayk next to Doutzen."
Sure enough, West's Twitter "Angels" include Bar Rafaeli, Ginzburg, Rocha, Ambrosio, Rubik, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Shayk and Douzen Kroes. The other stunners include Jourdan Dunn, Lara Stone, Veronica Webb, Chanel Iman, Selita Ebanks, Jessica Stam and Kate Moss.
It's the latest Twitter-trend for West, whose following habits on the social networking site have been heavily scrutinized by message boards. Over the summer, he (seemingly randomly) appointed Steven Holmes, a student from Coventry, England, as the "chosen one" to follow on Twitter.
The "Power" rapper later dropped Holmes and briefly expanded his followers to include Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift (around the time West collaborated with the Biebs and issued his marathon Twit-pology to Swift), as well as Kenny Powers, the fictional baseball player from HBO's "Eastbound and Down."
Alas, those three were also dropped to make room for his new gaggle of gals.
