IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

It appears that Young Money rapper Jae Millz was arrested at his house yesterday (May 18) in New York City for being in possession of an illegal substance. There aren't many details on the situation, but Millz confirmed the arrest through Twitter, revealing that he was being held in the Bronx's 43rd Precinct.
"This woman really just called the cops on me," Millz wrote. "But u in MY house. I'm getting arrested!"

There remains some confusion about the catalyst for the arrest, though. AllHipHop.com claims to have a source that says Millz was involved in a domestic dispute and this initial tweet seems to confirm that a woman in his house blew the whistle on him for something other than drugs.

"Its real weird how I got arrested 4 havin an illegal substance, but 80% of da holding cell was in there cuz of chicks," he added after the affair.

This is Jae's second arrest in the last couple months and continues a rather turbulent year for the re-emerging rapper. The last arrest took place March 31 in New Jersey. Millz was busted in New Jersey for driving without a license.

Jae Millz plans to release his new mixtape, 'He Still Nasty,' on May 26.
