LOL! BETTY WHITE SLAPS THE SH!T OUT OF SHAQ!

These days, Betty White's playing hard to get.
After the in-demand octogenarian turned down a request from a soldier to attend the Marine Corps Ball earlier this summer, she's now also breaking the heart of retired NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal, 39.

In a video posted on the big man's Twitter feed, O'Neal kisses the 89-year-old on the hand and asks her to marry him – only to be met with a slap in the face.

"You're too old for me," the comedian scolds.

Luckily for O'Neal, he might not be looking too far for love.

Since his divorce from "Basketball Wives" reality star Shaunie O'Neal, he's been spotted with a bevy of new sweethearts – most recently, Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander.

O'Neal is obviously not the former Golden Girl's only suitor. In a poll published late last week by Reuters/Ipsos, White was voted the most trusted celebrity in America.
