LOL! ANONYMOUS HACKER GROUP SAYS THEIR OUT TO KILL FACEBOOK!

It's an Internet smackdown!
Members of the shadowy hacker group "Anonymous" are setting their sights on taking down social networking monolith Facebook.
The politically-motivated hacker pack intends to "kill Facebook" for what they claim be the site's misuse of personal info.

"Your medium of communication you all so dearly adore will be destroyed," vowed a member of the group in a YouTube video that is making the rounds on the Internet.
The group says it will shoot to shutdown Facebook on Nov. 5 - Guy Fawkes Day in England, which celebrates a plot to blow up Parliament in 1605.
But not all in the loosely organized group are getting onboard.
"No one can speak for the whole of Anonymous," the group posted on its Twitter stream. "There are some anons who support OpFacebook whilst others do not."

The anti-Facebook faction accuse the social networking site of selling personal information to outside vendors and sharing info with government agencies.

Facebook officials have long denied the misuse of user data.

Anonymous emerged after the arrest of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange last year, attacking sites of companies that had shunned the anti-secrecy group.

Since then they have hacked sites for News Corp. and claim to have sabotaged the Syrian Defense Ministry's site.
