Betty White is a cougar and she doesn't care who knows it.
The soon-to-be host of "Saturday Night Live" is back in the limelight in a TV spot to promote her appearance on the NBC show May 8.

"Do you know they call me a cougar and they say I'm dating a young hottie?" White tells the camera as a buff young man in a white tank top appears behind her dusting her coffee table. "Not true - I married him!"

The "Golden Girls" star also pays lip service to the internet campaign that landed her the Mother's Day weekend gig.

After White's stint in a Super Bowl ad for Snickers, 500,000 Facebook fans campaigned for White to host "SNL" for the first time in the 88-year-old's career.

"I can't think of a better way to spend Mother's Day weekend than with Betty White," Lorne Michaels, creator and executive producer of "SNL," said in a statement after White was announced as host.

The comedienne has been under the radar of late, but she briefly re-emerged to support her good friend Sandra Bullock after it was reported that he cheated on her with several mistresses.

"Betty wants to kick Jesse James' a--," a source close to White said. "Betty is furious and just cannot understand why he would be so stupid.”
