This is one Caped Crusader who is truly Bats.
A 31-year-old Michigan man dressed as Batman was arrested Wednesday, as he dangled from the side of a building, authorities said.
The wanna-be superhero, whose name has not been released, was also in possession of several "dangerous weapons," according to the Petoskey Department of Public Safety.
Public safety officers and state police apprehended "Batman" after receiving a call that someone was on the roof of a 30-foot tall building along East Mitchell St. in Petoskey just before midnight.
They went up to the roof where they found the man dressed as the Dark Knight, authorities said.
"They observed a male subject, dressed in a Batman costume, hanging [by his hands] off the western wall of the building," according to a press release from the Petoskey Department of Public Safety.
He was pulled back up and searched. Officers found "a baton type striking weapon, a can of chemical irritant spray, and a pair of lead-lined gloves."
"Batman" is being held at the Emmet County jail.
