Police in Maryland are hunting for an April Fools' joker who left a helpless man glued to a bathroom toilet in a suburban Wal-Mart store.
Cops found the 48-year-old victim stuck to a toilet seat at a store in Elkton, Md., around 7 p.m. on March 31 after workers heard him screaming for help, cops said.
A crew of police, firemen and paramedics tried to pry the poor man off the seat after it became clear he wasn't able to stand up on his own.
Eventually, though, they freed him from the stall, seat and all, cops said.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where the seat was removed. He left with a few scrapes and scratches on his backside, CNN reported.
Cops don't think the man was a target - instead, they think it was a case of the old "superglue on the toilet seat" April Fools' day practical joke.
But the jokester probably won't be laughing for long. He or she will face second-degree assault charges if cops manage to nab him.
