Snoop Lion really was a P-I-M-P.
The hip-hop artist, 41, revealed in the new issue of Rolling Stone that his image didn't come out of nowhere. In fact, before he was slinging tracks, Snoop (Calvin Broadus) was peddling women to athletes, he said.
"I put an organization together," the rapper said. "I did a Playboy tour, and I had a bus follow me with ten b-----s on it. I could fire a b---h, f--k a bitch, get a new ho. It was my program. City to city, t---y to t---y, hotel room to hotel room, athlete to athlete, entertainer to entertainer."
The "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks" artist wasn't shy about why he got into the scene.
"It was never about the money; it was about the fascination of being a pimp," Broadus said. "As a kid I dreamed of being a pimp. I dreamed of having cars and clothes and b-----s to match. "
Broadus' wife of 15 years, Shante, "had to take a backseat to this," he said. "And I love her to this day because she coulda shook out on a n---a, but she stayed in my corner."
Now the rapper has moved on to more above-board operations. Recently, Broadus released an iOS and Android app called "Snoopify," which allows users to add Snoop-related stickers to their phone pictures, such as a skull cap or braids.
So this ni**a Snoop was sellin' a$$ to athletes?
