A disabled Greek baker robbed two banks with a shotgun hidden on his crutch, police said.
The 56-year-old businessman, financially ruined by his nation's continuing economic crisis, allegedly strapped the weapon to the inside of one of his canes.
He then hit up the money houses in Thessaloniki last week.
His first attempt reportedly failed because the bank's safe was on a time delay.
The second robbery was more successful and saw him make off with $16,000, reports Fox News.
But his luck soon ran out after he was detained by cops and charged with robbery and firearms offences.
Police said he was heavily in debt and had used the stolen money to pay suppliers to his business.
His shotgun was attached to his crutches?
