“A lot of these collaborations are coming out like, well, uh? Lets got put Nicki Minaj on it! You know what I mean? Nicki Minaj, in Hip-Hop, she is equivalent to bacon here in America. Do you know what I mean by that?” Thomas asked AllHipHop.com inquisitively.
“If you want a bacon deluxe, she is it," Carl Thomas reasoned. "It’s like, maybe Xzibit and 'Pimp My Ride.' They should be putting bacon down the strips of these hoopties, so maybe we should just slap bacon all up and down the car and all the suddenly your s**t is instantly pimped. A lot of these hip-hop artists are treating Nicki like that."
To avoid confusion, Carl Thomas clarified his "bacon" statement about Nicki Minaj and today's Hip-Hop music.
“What she [Nicki] deserves is her own space to grow instead of everyone trying to grab a piece of her heat," Carl Thomas told AllHipHop.com. "You know what I mean? It’s like treating Nicki Minaj like the Hip-Hop bacon.”
