LMAO! 13 YEAR OLD BOY GETS KNOCKED THE F**K OUT BY A WHALE TAIL!

It's one whale of a tale.

Drew Hall, a 13-year-old Australian boy, was fishing with his family Sunday the tail of a humpback whale emerged from the water and slammed down on him.

"The whale just came up and whacked the boat," Karen Hall, the boy's mother, told Australia's Chennel Seven News network. "Its tail came down and took the top off the boat and sent Drew flying."

Hall was off the shore of Maclean, a town some 400 miles north of Sydney, sitting on his family's 17-foot boat with his parents when the trio came across a pod of humpbacks.

The family's search for a better fishing spot must have caused some ire underwater because soon one of the massive mammals lashed out with its tail.

Luckily, Hall's parents were left unscathed by the injury, but it was their son they worried about.

"It all happened within seconds," Karen Hall said. "I thought Drew was dead. I looked at him and thought he was gone -- he was blue. It took about five minutes before we could get him to move or make a noise."

It took another half an hour to get Hall consciousness. The teen doesn't remember anything.

After being rushed to shore and then to Maclean hospital, he was treated for a broken collarbone and two swelling bruises, one an egg-sized lump on his head and another on his chest.

Authorities were not quite as surprised by the attack as Hall and his parents.

Geoff Ross of the Australian National Parks and Wildlife Service told ABC News the whale's swat was understandable.

"The animal may well have been harassed beforehand, and the weekend was a very, very busy weekend for both recreational vessels... lots of fishermen, lots of whale-watching boats and unfortunately some of those boats were pushing in a lot closer and harassing whales," Ross said.

The knock has not deterred Hall from his favorite maritime hobby.

"I'll get back out [on the ocean] as soon as I can," the boy said. "Really all I do is just fish and play cricket."
