Don’t call it a comeback. LL Cool J has been hosting the Grammys for years.
For the fourth time, the Queens-born rapper will emcee the event when it takes place on Sunday February 8th.
At the same time, the Grammys has announced more performers for its 57th annual installment. Country star Miranda Lambert, R&B hottie Usher, “Happy” man Pharrell and lonely soul Sam Smith will perform.
As well, Common and John Legend will animate their song “Glory,” from the movie “Selma.” Their recording, which has already won a Golden Globe, also has an Oscar bid for “Best Song” this year.
This year’s Grammys will also boast performances from AC/DC, Eric Church, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, and Madonna. The last named star has been rumored to be opening the evening.
The program will emanate live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles starting at 8 p.m., Sunday. Feb. 8th. As it has for over four decades, the show will be telecast by CBS.
