LIL WAYNE REVEALS A RELEASE DATE FOR CARTER IV!

Kicking off the I Am Music II tour in Rhode Island, MTV's Sway sat down with Weezy to ask him the same thing we've all been wondering, when are we getting the Carter IV?

"May 16th, believe that. It can come out tomorrow 'cause I'm so finished, but you know Tez like to sit on stuff — no homo. Tha Carter IV will be dropping May 16. If you're not doing anything, do me."

Over the summer, Drake spoke on the Carter IV, admitting that he'd already heard some of the album via telephone while Wayne served time at Rikers Island.

“He called me the other day from jail and rapped me two verses, man….It really made me, like, I gotta do something different. I gotta get sh*t together, because he's really got bars and he's rapping from a broader life perspective..."
