Lil Wayne will remain a Cash Money Millionaire indefinitely, after re-upping on his contract with the label, founded by Birdman and his brother Slim, for well into the future.
"I just resigned with Cash Money," the rapper revealed during the premiere episode of MTV's new show, "Hip Hop POV." "I just resigned another four-album deal, so my next four albums is coming out with Cash Money."
Weezy also revealed that his next project coming will be: I Am Not A Human Being II.
It follows up 2010's I Am Not a Human Being, and is due later this year. Weezy calls the album series just himself "being creatively free."
"I just say what I wanna on the I Am Not a Human Being II. Contract-wise, I only get paid for 12 songs. Maybe on a Carter album, you probably only gonna get 12 songs, maybe a bonus 13. But on this I Am Not a Human Being thing, I really don't care -- 'cause thank God I'm wealthy enough to not -- you're probably gonna get about 16 on there," said Wayne.
He's also working on a new album, titled Devol ("Loved" spelled backwards), which he says will be comprised of his version of love songs that he wrote in prison.
"For some reason when I was locked up, all I could think about was women the whole time," Weezy explained. "I was also thinking about a woman like truck that trick. All these emotions came out on this Devol project that I was doing, so we're gonna pick some of the songs off the Devol project and hopefully people like them."
At press time, release dates were not announced.
