Lil Wayne’s “I Am Music Two Tour” is getting new life this summer. Weezy has announced plans to extend his trek with 40 more shows. The new dates get under way July 13th at the Comcast Theater in Hartford, Connecticut. The tour will then hit cities like Atlanta, Minneapolis, Phoenix, San Diego and Denver before wrapping up September 11th in Woodlands, Texas. With fellow Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj set to open for Britney Spears this summer, Lil Wayne has made a few changes to his tour’s lineup. MTV News says the trek will now feature performances from Keri Hilson, Far East Movement and Lloyd. Miami rap star Rick Ross will remain on the tour.

The first leg of Lil Wayne’s “I Am Music Two Tour” launched back in March and wrapped up on May 1st at the Bamboozle Festival in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Prior to returning to the road, Lil Wayne will drop his new record “Tha Carter Four.” The album is due in stores on June 21st.
