Lil Wayne is skedaddling from St. Louis after a run-in with law enforcement officials.
The rapper, who is currently touring North American arenas with Blink-182, tweeted Saturday (Sept. 14) that he's skipping his St. Louis concert tonight after getting booted from the Ritz-Carlton hotel, a situation that apparently involved the authorities.
"Sorry not doing the show tonight in St Lou kuz I was just kik’d out the ritz and 12 got involve so I gotta slide. Tht y’all f w me out here. Dam slime. It’s all luv tho," Wayne tweeted.
Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform at the city's Live Nation-operated Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. The venue later confirmed on Twitter that the rapper will not be performing on Saturday, and noted that Blink-182 is still scheduled to appear.
Billboard has reached out to Lil Wayne's team and Live Nation for comment.
In July, Weezy teased that he was planning to exit his tour with Blink-182, but quickly provided an update assuring fans that he wasn't bailing on the trek.
The co-headlining tour's next stop is Cincinnati's Riverbend Music Center on Monday (Sept. 16).
