Lil Kim Breaks Up A Fight Between Maino And Movie Cop

Lil’ Kim — peacemaker?

Club Love in Brooklyn maintained its good name when Lil’ Kim squashed a beef Sunday morning between rapper Maino and cop-turned-actor Steve Stanulis, which almost pitted her entourage against club security too.

“Lil’ Kim performed in one part of the club, then rolled into the lounge part with a 20-person entourage around 2:30 a.m.,” says a source at the Sunset Park hotspot. Our insider said the “Not Tonight” rapper’s entourage was ready to party and they also came thirsty.

“To get from point A to point B, Lil’ Kim’s party had to pass through this kitchen and after they did, club managers were complaining that two bottles of vodka were missing.”

Once the group settled in, our insider heard club security — which had apparently gotten bad information — approach Lil’ Kim to ask if someone had taken two bottles off her table.

As club management and Kim’s entourage tried sorting out what had happened, rapper Maino, who’d arrived with Kim’s group, jumped atop a banquette and took a swig from a nearby bottle. That’s when Stanulis, who has played a policeman in films including ”The Interpreter” and “Mother’s Day Massacre,” as well as HBO’s “The Sopranos,” got involved.

According to a insider, Stanulis, who was partying nearby, heard what was happening and asked Kim’s entourage if one of them had grabbed a couple of bottles of vodka from the kitchen.

“The actor guy (Stanulis) saw Maino dancing and yelled, ‘Yo, have you got a bottle of vodka?”

Maino, either misunderstanding Stanulis or unsure what he was talking about, yelled, “Yeah, go get me a bottle!”

That’s when Stanulis jumped atop the banquette where Maino was dancing and went chest to chest with the “I Did it for Brooklyn” rapper.

“Maino said, ‘Do you know who I am?’ ” according to the insider. “Then (Stanulis) said, “I don’t care! Do you know who I am?’ ” That’s when Maino allegedly yelled, “Yeah I know who you are — you’re po-lice!”

Just as the pushing and shoving started, the guest of honor leaped in between the men.

“Lil’ Kim jumps in, wearing this almost-nothing-of-a-skirt, and told everyone to calm down!” The club agreed to forget about the bottles, Maino went back to dancing and Stanulis returned to his table.

“(Stanulis) walked away saying, ‘One more second I would have ripped him off that banquette."
Order was restored just before 3 a.m.

“(The club) got lucky, It was daylight saving, so the clocks jumped ahead, so it was basically closing time.”
