Lil Jon Responds To Trump Calling Him Uncle Tom

Donald Trump got low with his insults toward Lil Jon on "Celebrity Apprentice."

The Republican presidential nominee reportedly called the "Get Low" rapper "Uncle Tom" during his run on "Celebrity Apprentice,” but stopped using the derogatory term once confronted, according to Lil Jon.

The Atlanta-born record producer took to Twitter on Friday night to address the 2013 incident in response to a report published by the Daily Beast.

"When this 'Uncle Tom' incident happened on 'Celebrity Apprentice' in the boardroom several of my castmates and I addressed Mr. Trump immediately when we heard the comment," the 45-year-old wrote.

"I can't say if he knew what he was actually saying or not, but he did stop using that term once we explained it's offensiveness,” he added.

The term, stemming from the novel "Uncle Tom's Cabin," is used in a derogatory sense to refer to a black person eager to win over the approval of a white person, according to the Merriam-Webster definition.

"I also want to be clear that I don't agree with many of the statements Mr. Trump has said during his current run for President," Lil Jon added.

In April, the rapper, born Jonathan Smith, spoke about Trump’s presidential run in an interview with Virgin Radio Dubai.

“Honestly, Mr. Trump did a lot great things for me when I was on the show, and he didn’t have to,” Lil Jon said.

News of the incident comes as numerous reports emerge of Trump's shocking behavior toward "Apprentice" cast members.

The Donald reportedly called reality TV star Khloe Kardashian a "fat piglet" — and "the ugly Kardashian" — during her stint on the Celebrity version of the series.

The bombastic billionaire also allegedly called deaf "Apprentice" contestant Marlee Matlin “retarded.”
