Lil Fizz guested on the Movies & Models podcast with actor Jordan Lee Brown to promote their upcoming project Run Nixon the movie, about a desperate mother who robs a strip club to pay for her child’s heart surgery, features Lil Fizz starring as a character named Dre, the father of the title character, while Brown takes on the role of Slice. Brown was awarded the Outstanding Actor award in 2022 at the Micheaux Film Festival for Run Nixon. According to Baller Alert, the conversation about casting resulted in debate over their skill level and work ethic. “I just saw, like, the character breakdown, like cool, I’m the lead. If we ain’t talking lead, leave me alone. It was just like in a way for me, I put in a lot of work,” Brown explained. “I don’t know too many actors that go through the leaps and bounds and the measures.” One of the hosts mentioned that Fizz did well in the movie, however, Brown stood firm that his costar assumed it would turn out different and was “jealous. “What’s up bro? What you really feel?” the former B2K member asks after the men engaged in a back-and-forth about opportunities and career status. The hosts exit the platform as the altercation heats up. Fizz approaches Brown first and pushes him before being pushed back. both were removed from the podcast, and director SkyDirects offered a statement regarding the violent incident. He also revealed that the two actors shared tension as they filmed Run Nixon. “I just want to apologize first and foremost,” SkyDirects explained. “That’s not the tone that I really promote. I don’t promote violence, I don’t promote disrespect so I apologize for what occurred.” He added, “I’m going to be honest. The tension has been building since day one. I kept these guys separated and I purposely do that on set because I want, even with Nixon, I wanted Nixon to not meet Jordan Lee Brown. I want him to be afraid and intimidated on set so he didn’t meet Jordan until it was time to shoot his scene.
