LeBron James Signs With The Lakers For $154M

The King’s next chapter will take place in Hollywood.

LeBron James is signing with the Lakers, Klutch Sports Group announced Sunday, agreeing to a four-year, $154 million deal.

The best player in basketball and three-time Finals MVP will try to resurrect Los Angeles, a massive victory for president of basketball operations Magic Johnson.

And a massive loss for the Cavaliers, who must be getting visions of The Decision all over again.

Speculation was James would do a similar two-year deal to Kevin Durant, with an opt-out after the first year, making him a 2019 free agent. But James won’t be free again possibly until 2022.

Knicks coach David Fizdale has a strong relationship with James, but likely will never have the chance to recruit him.
