LeBron James is one of the richest athletes in the world, but don't expect him to shell out any of his own dough for his birthday bash.
A marketing firm has put together a PowerPoint presentation hoping to attract sponsors for what they are calling a "full court birthday celebration" for James on Dec. 30, the day the Miami Heat superstar turns 26.
In a 12-page presentation uncovered by Business Insider on Thursday morning, marketing firm SA Global Plus guarantees the event will attract "Athletes, Models and Musicians. As well political figures, socialites, tastemakers and affluent leaders from various industries including Art, Business and Finance."
James, who will make roughly $14.5 million in basketball salary alone this year, will hold court at the Coco Deville lounge in Miami's Gansevoort Hotel at the party set to feature a "star studded red carpet event attracting an elite crowd," according to the presentation.
And in a move befitting the player known as "King James," the party will have a "royal theme" and feature swag bags for those in attendance with "product samplings from A-list sponsors."
Sponsorship opportunities begin at a minimum of $10,000 and extend to $500,000.
The presentation also touts future dates for something called the "LeBron James Dinner Party Tour" with dates scheduled all over the country, including Jan. 26 in New York and Feb. 18 in Los Angeles during the NBA’s All-Star weekend.
Details on those dinner parties were left unspecified, but for the right price they can apparently be sponsored as well.
James might want to think about using another marketing firm for his next party, however.
His first name was spelled incorrectly throughout the presentation.
