Lauren London Honors Nipsey Hussle In ‘Forever Stronger’ Puma Campaign

Lauren London is paying tribute to the man she loved.

In her new “Forever Stronger” campaign video for Puma released Tuesday, the 35-year-old actress honors her late boyfriend Nipsey Hussle, who was killed on March 31 outside his Marathon clothing store in LA. The pair had dated from 2013 until his tragic death, and share son Kross, 3.

The powerful clip sees London strolling through the city’s Crenshaw neighborhood, where the rapper was raised, while reciting a poem by his sister Samantha Smith.

“Pain is the light, pain is insight. The body hurts but the spirit grows. The flesh is starving while wisdom overflows,” she says. “I got a question only Lord knows: Does life birth us twice?”

“Lauren London is proud to join forces with PUMA to support her on this next chapter of her journey,” the video’s YouTube description reads. “This piece was a creative vision Lauren wanted to bring to life to signify the continuation of her marathon alongside PUMA. Forever Stronger.”

Hussle had served as an ambassador for the athletic label before his death. A collaboration between Puma and the musician’s TMC brand (short for The Marathon Continues) was released in September.
