Lark Voorhies New Husband Defends His Criminal Past

Lark Voorhies new husband is defending his criminal past.

"I'm not running from anyone," he told E! News on Saturday.

One day after news broke that the "Saved by the Bell" star secretly married her music engineer boyfriend, Jimmy Green, in a late April wedding near Las Vegas, reports surfaced that he's wanted in Tuscon, Arizona, TMZ reported Friday.

The arrest warrant on charges of disorderly conduct and threatening to intimidate stems from a 2012 incident when Green allegedly threatened to kill a store owner, shouting, "I'm going to break the store and kill (you)."

"It was just a misdemeanor. They are blowing it out of proportion," he told E! "Whatever happened, it is in my past. I am a changed man."

Voorhies, who played Lisa Turtle on the hit 1990s sitcom, reportedly knew everything about Green's criminal history before marrying him. Despite her family's concerns and requests for her to annul the marriage, the 41-year-old actress intends to stand by her man, who she believes has changed, sources told TMZ.

However, conflicting reports indicated that Voorhies, who met Green on Facebook last year before marrying him in April, wasn't exactly aware about her new hubby's past.

"We are obviously concerned about the allegation and we are looking into the matter," her rep Jennifer Wolfson told Us Weekly. "Lark feels these allegations are not true and would like this cleared up as soon as possible."

According to what Green told E! News, the allegations are true and "It's something I need to go to court and get thrown out," he said, adding, "I've been rehabilitated."

Despite the varying reports, Green insisted his relationship with Voorhies is solid.

"We are going to live life to the fullest and be happy every day,"

That's not even a criminal ….. I'm sure we all went 0 to 100 on a store owner ……
