Mary J. Blige protégé LaNeah Menzies crashed the boss' Bentley into a Honda Civic while tooling around downtown Manhattan, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in Queens Supreme Court.
Menzies and the 2008 Bentley's owner, Blige's Mary Jane Productions, are named as defendants in the lawsuit filed by William Herrera of Rego Park, Queens.
Herrera was a passenger in the Honda driven by Richard Jones when it collided with the Bentley on Dec. 9, 2008, at the intersection of Ninth Ave. and W. 23rd St., the lawsuit says.
Jones, of Binghamton, N.Y., is also named as a defendant.
The lawsuit does not detail how severe Herrera's injuries were. No one answered the door at his apartment Wednesday and his lawyer did not return phone calls.
Menzies, 26, got a writing credit for "I Can See in Color," which Blige sang for the film "Precious." The Lowell, Mass., native also co-wrote Kanye West's "Love Lockdown."
