A landlord is pulling out the claws against Tyga — but watch out, this deadbeat tenant's crew is packing heat.
Yes, this just in from our ever-busy Tyga desk:
First, a Los Angeles property owner is suing the “Faded” rapper for abandoning his Last Kings retail clothing store in a disastrous state that required $75,000 in repairs, TMZ reports.
The proprietor says he found the store deserted last June, with the doors and ceilings painted black with Egyptian symbols. The floor was apparently covered in ink stains, and someone even poured ink down a drain and into the public sewer.
He is reportedly seeking $75,000 in damages from the rapper, plus five months of unpaid rent. Tyga, however, claims the landlord is the one responsible for damaging the store and argues the venue wasn't up to code.
Tyga has a history of high-priced cat fights with landholders, including last June, when he was ordered to pay $80,000 in back rent to an ex-landlord. He was reportedly also sued twice by a different owner for skipping out on payments for his girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s Calabasas, Calif. home.
The latest landlord, however, should be aware of who he’s messing with — given that his suit comes two days after a member of Tyga's entourage was photographed carrying a gun in the backseat of the rapper’s Rolls Royce.
And in our final chapter of today’s Tyga saga, the rapper created some social media buzz when he grabbed and squeezed Jenner’s butt in a video shared on the reality star’s Snapchat.
Tyga's financial situation has often been questioned due to his flippant spending on cars, jewelry and lavish property rentals. The rapper, who famously gifted Jenner with a $320,000 Ferrari on her 18th birthday last year, has also purchased six gold watches, a number of expensive bracelets and necklaces and at least five cars worth upwards of $100,000 in recent years, according to E! News.
Jenner has also been seen driving the rapper's $115,000 Mercedes G-Wagon, which many speculate he also gave to her.
But the 26-year-old has made some serious money in his career, notably taking home $50,000 a night during his 2014 tour, according to Forbes. He also earned more than $5.8 million dollars over the course of his 22-date "Between The Sheets" tour with Chris Brown early last year. Likewise, two of his studio albums sold at least 84,000 copies, and in addition to his clothing line, he signed a $1.5 million shoe deal with Reebok in 2013.
Several outlets, including E! News and The Mirror, estimated Tyga's networth was somewhere between $5-8 million last August. But his frivolous spending may have put a dent in that, as the Celebrity Net Worth website now says he's only worth $2 million.
