Lamar Odom Is Out Of Rehab

Lamar Odom is on the rebound.

The former NBA star is returning to his Los Angeles home Thursday after finishing a 35-day session at a San Diego rehab center, TMZ reports.

The ex-Los Angeles Laker-turned reality star, 37, is doing better after "successfully completing the program" and is excited to get back to his normal life, a source close to Odom told the gossip site.

Odom's decision to check into rehab in early December came a little over a year after his near-fatal drug binge at a Nevada brothel left him hospitalized for three months.

He reportedly decided to seek treatment last month as a precaution after worrying that the anniversary of his son's 2006 death would ultimately drive him back to drugs.

It's been a tumultuous year and a half for Odom, who was spotted publicly drinking multiple times in 2016 after being released from the hospital. His divorce from Khloe Kardashian was also recently finalized, three years after she filed for the legal separation.

Odom expounded on his distressing 2015 hospitalization in an interview on the reality series "The Doctors" last month.

"I wasn't in a good place mentally — especially mentally before the incident happened," he told Dr. Travis Stork. "My wife at the time (and I were) going through some things, and I was in a dark place."

Odom is slated to detail his journey before and after rehab in a special on “The Doctors” later this month.
