Kylie Jenner And Travis Scott Welcome A Baby Girl

It's a girl!

After months of speculation, Kylie Jenner announced Sunday that she welcomed an 8 lb., 9 oz. baby girl Thursday.

Reports that the 20-year-old reality star was expecting her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott began swirling in late September, but Jenner remained tight-lipped until she announced the happy news on Twitter.

In a lengthy statement, Jenner apologized to fans for falling off the grid during her pregnancy, but expressed a desire for privacy in order to properly prepare for motherhood.

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness," she wrote.

She added that her "beautiful and healthy" daughter arrived Feb. 1.

"Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering and life-changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived Feb. 1 and I just couldn't wait to share this blessing. I've never felt love and happiness like this. I could burst! Thank you for understanding."

Scott, meanwhile, celebrated the birth of his "rager" a bit more succinctly.

"2.1.18 4 ever New rager in town. !!!" he wrote on Twitter.

Kris Jenner was quick to congratulate her youngest child on the birth of her daughter, which marks the eighth grandchild for the Kardashian matriarch.

"God is SO good!! I am so excited and thrilled to welcome another precious baby girl to our beautiful, ever growing family," she wrote on Twitter. "We are blessed beyond belief!!"

Kylie and the "Goosebumps" rapper Scott, 25, kicked off their relationship in April, and were spotted together courtside at an NBA game later that month.

"He seems so happy and just keeps rubbing her head and saying, 'Daddy's here. Daddy's here,'" a source told E! News about the new father.

Scott reportedly cancelled an appearance at Myth Nightclub in Minneapolis last minute, which now appears to be due to the new birth.

In a lengthy video shared to YouTube, Jenner documented her pregnancy in the form of a letter to her daughter.

The clip featured interviews with Jenner's closest friends and home video footage, including sonograms and romantic moments with Scott.

"One day, I was in your mom's bathroom with her and she took a little test. And then she passed it to me after, like, 'Surprise!'" pal Jordyn Woods recalled. "When you're 20 years old, you're just figuring out your life. You don't know what you want...and there was one thing that your mom knew for sure. And that was you."

Kim Kardashian's newborn daughter Chicago, who was born Jan. 15 via surrogate, also made her debut in the video.

The new addition is just the latest in a Kardashian baby boom. Sister Kim welcomed her third child last month with husband Kanye West, while sister Khloe is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
