Kreayshawn Earned $0.01 From Her Debut Album Sales

West Coast rapper Kreayshawn may have made the best decision by putting her rap career on hold to pursue other ventures after revealing how much she made from her Somethin' 'Bout Kreay debut.

According to the 24-year-old, she banked less than a dollar from her debut's sales.

According to Kreayshawn, she only earned $0.01 from her debut album's sales. The rapper, representing Oakland, took to Twitter to make light of her incredibly low earnings, sharing a picture of her PayPal account. Kreayshawn garnered major attention in 2011 with her overnight smash hit "Gucci Gucci," which lead on to a major label deal with Columbia. Unfortunately for her, the album debuted at No. 112 on the Billboard 200 in its first week of release, making it the all-time lowest first week sales by an artist signed to a major record label, this according to HitsDailyDouble.
