KOBE BRYANT FINALLY GETS HIS RING FULL OF BLING!

Kobe Bryant may have been last one to receive his championship ring Tuesday set with 14 brilliant round-shaped diamonds but he was one of the first to put it on in the dressing room.

The 31-year-old superstar collected his fourth National Basketball Association championship ring Tuesday in an pre-game ceremony as the Los Angeles Lakers opened their defence of their title with a 99-92 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

But just like his other three rings, Bryant says he plans to wear this one just once before putting it away for good in a locked safe.

Bryant was one of the few Lakers to take the ring out of its black box and wear it around the dressing room after the game at Staples Center arena.

"I never wear them except for the night that I get them," he said. "I do that and then I go home and put them in a vault."

Bryant said he enjoys that first day with the ring and uses the moment to reminisce about the past season. But asked why he doesn't wear them more than once he said, "because it is time to move on to the next one."

Bryant's ring features a laser image of his face and his jersey number on the side and is topped with 14 white round-shaped diamonds surrounding the NBA championship trophy.

The band is made of 15 karat yellow and white gold to commemorate the 15 championships the Lakers have won.

The newest Laker Ron Artest knows what motivates Bryant, who was the last player to be presented with the ring.

"I know once he gets that ring, he's going to put it away and look right away at getting the next one," Artest said.
