King Combs, has opened up about the verdict in his father Sean “Diddy” Combs’ criminal trial. Last month, the 55-year-old was convicted on two federal counts of transporting women across state lines for the purpose of prostitution, and acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges. “I feel good. The whole family. We feel good,” detailed the 27-year-old in a new interview. “We just, you know, humbly, just waiting for the sentencing and waiting for pops to come home. We got good expectations. During the eight-week trial, King Combs and his siblings, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, and Jessie supported their father in the courtroom. And Janice Combs, also proudly stood by her son.the hopeful rap star later elaborated more on his thoughts about his father’s potential freedom when discussing the song “Pick a Side” featured on his latest mixtape, Never Stop. “I think now that the truth is getting out and pops is on the way home, God willing. I think we just need to stay with positivity, spread love. I just hope all the hate and all the negative stuff is past us, and we can just move forward and with just love and good vibes. That’s what we’re here to do: never stop. I get vulnerable on this tape a little bit but for the most part it’s just good music for people to feel good and get through whatever they’re going through,” he said. Diddy’s legal team moved for their client’s release ahead of his October-scheduled sentencing and offered terms of bail. Additionally, the group of lawyers filed a motion requesting that the Bad Boy Records founder’s conviction be vacated or that he be granted a new trial.
