Kim Kardashian Is Reportedly Going To Launch A Clothing Brand For Kids

The North star shall guide us to the next generation of unapologetic product-pimping.

Kim Kardashian has been busy behind the scenes since giving birth to daughter North West, and it appears the savvy reality mogul is masterminding a new business model.

Kim's pal Lloyd Klein has revealed she is going to launch a clothing range for children.

The respected fashion designer says he expects North West to be a "great poster child."

Klein, who has dressed stars including Eva Longoria and Tyra Banks, is planning his own kids' range — which could mean the pair collaborating.

The development comes after months of reports that Kim's boyfriend, Kanye West, is desperate to protect North's privacy. Reports have suggested the rapper has clashed with momager Kris Jenner over appearances in their E! TV series and commercial ventures.

"I am sure she is going to come up with a line for babies," Klein told Confidenti@l in L.A.

The Canadian designer, 48, hopes to work with Kim, who has banked millions of dollars from fashion deals.

"It is very cute to design for babies. [It would be] soft colors, pastels, something very dreamy and still trendy.

"I do have a line that I am trying to put together for children, for babies, and it is called Baby Lloyd, but we are not there yet. There is still a way to go."

Klein says that while Kim's rollercoaster media image is reflected in her fashion career, her outfits sell.

"One day you are up and one day you are down," he said.

"They [the Kardashians] are doing clever moves. They are fantastic and beautiful — so it works.

Kim "has a very pretty face. She is a very clever lady, and I think she wears the clothes beautifully."

Confirming Kim's marketing power, he added: "She wore one of my dresses not long ago and it got sold all over the world, even in the Middle East."

Klein has dished up several outfits for Kim, as "her stylist apparently is a big fan.

"And when she brings the clothes to Kim, she brings a selection from a few designers, not only me. But luckily Kim chooses some of my clothes, so it is always a pleasure."

Klein, who is based in Los Angeles, has showrooms in New York and is about to have his ready-to-wear line distributed in Saks Fifth Avenue.

But fans won't see Kim K's outfits there, as they are only in his couture store in L.A.
