What will Kim Kardashian do if she can't wear 5-inch heels?
The reality star tweeted Monday that she took a tumble in her New York hotel room and - gasp! - broke a toe.

"I knew my clumsiness would catch up with me at some point!" the reality star wrote. "I tripped on a suit case on the floor and broke my toe :-("

Could the tumble have been due to teetering on sky high heels? The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star isn't exactly known for sporting practical footwear.

The 30-year-old wouldn't dare ditch her stilettos for flats even for a game of bowling, as she proved in Atlantic City last month.

She also literally bled for the sake of fashion when she recently wore a pair of Christian Louboutin spike-studded heels that cut her foot.

She posted a picture of the "injury" on her blog, saying, "One of the spikes cut me! These are dangerous shoes! LOL"

About her broken toe, Kardashian tweeted Tuesday morning, "Woke up today with my toe an unusual shade of purple! At least it feels better!"

Phew! Now everyone can get on with their lives.
